Cult’s new coffee from Honduras is a really special one; intensely sweet blackberry flavour with honeysuckle florals and zingy lemon sherbet, the exact sort of thing we love to drink on cold brew.

Miladiz Mejia Reyes has been producing coffee for five years in Las Vegas, Santa Barbara. Owning a coffee farm like Regalo de Dios had always been her dream, and she’s slowly saved for over 30 years in order to buy land and then to plant it. After falling ill several years ago, Miladiz retired from her full-time job as a mining administrator and dedicated herself to the farm, seeking out to improve quality by working with San Vicente specialty coffee project.

This washed microlot is the perfect demonstration of all her efforts. Miladiz currently processes her coffee at her neighbour’s mill, where it is left to ferment in concrete tanks for 12 hours then washed the following morning until the water runs clean.
