This natural hybrid variety was first found in Huila two decades ago and remains prized today not only for the bright pink cherries it produces, but for the distinctive complexity it brings to the cup.

This coffee comes from Deyanira Avendaño, who grows her coffee high in the mountains of Pitalito. Deyanira has built a strong reputation for quality growing processing, and with this one it’s easy to see why. This semi-washed coffee utilises a honey washed technique where the mucilage is left on for fermentation. The result is a silky sweet body that works brilliantly with the natural citrus brightness of the Pink Bourbon.
