Aricha, Ethiopia - ALL CAPS Coffee
An elegant and expressive Ethiopian coffee from the much celebrated Aricha washing station in the heart of Yirgacheffe.
Aricha wasn’t functioning until 2018 when it was revived by Faysel Abdosh and Testi coffee, who recognised the quality of coffee from surrounding communities and the need for a high quality washing station.
Aricha now produces exceptional washed, natural and small batches of experimental process lots and processes each community’s lots separately in order to direct the profits back to farmers and provide greater incentive to process at Aricha.
ALL CAPS’ pick of the bunch is this traditional washed coffee that is bursting with finger lime acidity that’s complemented by honeysuckle and earl grey aromatics.
Chester-based ALL CAPS coffee have been supplying the North West and beyond with beans and brews since 2021. There's a reason ALL CAPS are popping up as a guest roaster up and down the UK, they pride themselves on tasty coffee backed by transparent sourcing, roasting up their carefully selected lots on a Giesen roaster, keeping the distinctive qualities of each coffee intact.
While everything we've tried from ALL CAPS has been delicious, we'd be lying if we said it wasn't the fun, psychedelic branding that pulled us in.
