Incredible value natural white wine from Castuo Wines in Extremadura. This area of western Spain is a haven for unusual grape varieties, many of which are Portuguese. Arrebujao is a local word that means ‘mixture’ and is used by winemaker Fernando to show the mixture of grapes from Extremadura.

This white blend is made up of four of these local varieties: Pardina, Eva, Arinto and Morisca, three of which are white and one red which are fermented separately in a mix of steel, amphorae and concrete vessels with indigenous yeasts . The wine was aged on fine lees for 6 months before being bottled with minimal additions.

A really pure lemon-gold wine, with aromatic stone fruit and melon on the nose, a fresh and well rounded palate and a long finish that made it an instant hit with the team.
