Three is the magic number for Italian wine producer Vicara, founded in Monderrato in 1992 by three families: the Viscontis, the Cassinis, and the Ravizzas. (Vi-Ca-Ra, get it?). The winery’s philosophy is driven by three crucial pillars of tradition, research and respect as they navigate revolutionising winemaking in Piemonte while also honouring local varieties like Grignolino, Barbera and Freisa.

They source their grapes from three plots across Piemonte in Vadmon, Crosia, and Bricco Uccelletta where the vines are grown without the use of chemical fertilisers and with as little agricultural machinery usage as possible so as to preserve biodiversity.
