Downpour Sloe and Bramble Gin - North Uist Distillery
It seems like North Uist’s Distillery’s island home is the natural place to make Sloe gin. North Uist have added Hebridean sloe berries and brambles to their Downpour Gin, then aged it in ex-bourbon casks to add in an extra layer of mellow vanilla flavour to this herbal and tart bottle.
Richly fruity and complex, it’s the perfect spirit for the festive season.
Kate and Jonny started North Uist distillery in 2017, fulfilling a life long ambition to build a distillery on the island of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides. They make spirits inspired by their island home, its landscapes and traditions, honouring their families and bringing industry to the place they were born.
Their focus on community and on sustainability through local sourcing has made them an important part of North Uist culture.
