There’s not much left to say about Luz Helena Salazar, but there’s a reason why our roasters keep buying her outstanding coffees. This one has been roasted by ZENNOR in Glasgow to be ultra versatile as both a light espresso piqued by orange acidity or a sweet and chocolatey filter coffee.

Luz Helena Salazar’s family are leading figures in the Colombian specialty coffee industry. She works alongside her husband Jairo Arcila and has been supported by her sons Carlos and Felipe who founded the export business Cofinet.

This washed coffee was grown on Luz Helena’s farm Finca La Leona in the Armenia area of Quindio, then taken to one of Cofinet’s processing stations. The network they’ve created through coffee provides seasonal harvest jobs as well as crops like oranges, plantains and bananas, all of which contribute to their local community.
