Paola Trujillo’s Finca Patio Bonito covers 11 hectares in Caldono, in Colombia’s Cauca region. Her father Carlos has been growing coffee for almost 50 years and Paola, having initially pursued a career in chemical engineering, now brings a wealth of knowledge back to the family farm after spending several years working in the export business.

WIth Paola's guidance the Trujillo family have been able to introduce experimental post harvest processing methods like thermal shock and controlled anaerobic ferments but her fun and exciting washed coffees like this one continue to earn recognition amongst exporters and roasters alike.
