Great Rift Coffee produce and process coffee in Kenya’s Nandi County, managing every stage from cherry to export, ensuring full traceability. Handpicked cherries arrive at the factory to be sorted, pulped and fully washed under the traditional Kenyan process. Next up is a brief ‘skin drying’ phase that allows surface moisture to evaporate, preventing over-fermentation and guaranteeing that renowned clarity in the final cup.  At Great Rift’s dry mill the parchment coffee is hulled and graded by density and undergoes a final hand sorting before export.
