Filadelfia, Guatemala - Hundred House Coffee

Finca Filadelfia is operated by the fifth and sixth generations of the Dalton family, who have played an important role in the development of Antigua as a unique Guatemalan coffee region. The Acatenango valley is surrounded by three volcanoes whose pumice in the soil helps retain moisture and offset the area’s low rainfall and warm sunny days. Marta Dalton is carrying on their legacy through Coffee Bird, a sourcing operation building the next generation of coffee growers in Guatemala by educating, exporting, and creating long lasting direct-trade relationships.

This washed lot roasted by Hundred House is beautifully balanced and seriously drinkable- with sweet caramel wafer, orange and chocolate making for a well structured, clean but comforting cup.

Hundred House Coffee have been roasting in the Shropshire hills since 2017. From their small rural home near the Welsh border, they’ve opened a dialogue with rural farming communities all over the world to source the best coffee as ethically as possible.

Co-founders Matthew Wade and Anabelle De Gersigny focus on careful small batch roasting backed by decades of coffee experience. The team at Hundred House’s passion for culture means their coffee also supports the creative community through outreach and collaboration.
