Finca Paccayniyoc, Peru - Crankhouse Coffee
An absolute gem of a Peruvian coffee from Cusco, the capital of the Inca empire. We don’t often see coffees from this region, but Crankhouse have worked with importer Que Onda to source this sweet and creamy washed lot from Umapata producer Gabino Apaza Veronica.
Gabino Apaza Verónica has been working in agriculture from a young age and began cultivating coffee eight years ago. 1.5 hectare Finca Paccayniyoc sits at 2300 MASL surrounded by natural hot mountain springs, but this remote location makes it both a great and incredibly remote location to grow coffee.
We love Crankhouse’s offering of lesser-seen origins and varietals and their beautifully illustrated fully recyclable bags don’t hurt either. Check out our latest drop's here.
Exeter based Crankhouse Coffee launched in 2014, growing from a single car garage to a roastery in the heart of Exeter where quality is key. Today, they are dedicated to a sustainable future of coffee, and contribute to organisations that drive science-based change in the industry such as the Specialty Coffee Association, World Coffee Research, Alliance for Coffee Excellence and One Percent for the Planet.
