Caerphilly-based coffee roaster Big Dog are setting the standard for specialty coffee in South Wales. Sibling founders Huw and Hannah (along with Top Dog Clyde) recognise that community runs deep in the valleys they call home and Big Dog are determined to be a key part of this, building strong relationships at their cafe and by delivering their freshly roasted coffee beans.

Their relationships go further afield too, sourcing green coffee from importers who are committed to fair trade, and in turn supporting transparent partnerships with coffee farmers and processing mills.

Big Dog’s attitude to specialty coffee is all about accessibility, providing quality coffee without the jargon, because everyone deserves to experience how special this industry is!
