That bright yellow signage is a beacon for coffee lovers in Leeds, but over the past 15 years Laynes has become as well known for their breakfast and brunch offering as their coffee, which has stood the test of time. They’ve stuck with Square Mile brewed on a Synesso MVP Hydra for their espresso based drinks, but there’s always fun things flowing on filter and in the guest hoppers.
With such an ideal location, it’s no surprise that Laynes is always booming (especially at commuter rush hour!), but there’s bags of seating, including a basement downstairs and some fenced off on-street seating. Thankfully you can also book a table and Layne’s now open into the evening serving a great range of wines, local beers and coffee cocktails.
