Top Cuvée Beaujolais Nouveau 2025 - Shop Cuvée
It's the Third Thursday of November, and that means one thing, BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU DAY. Officially being able to be sold one minute past midnight, growers used to rush to Paris to get their wine bottles on the shelves fresh from the harvest. These days Beaujolais Nouveaus are put on embargo worldwide and under French law they cannot be released a second sooner. On the stroke of midnight, Beaujolais residents open the barrels of the new wine and declare: Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivé!
This year join in the celebrations with Top Cuvée and their bright, ruby coloured, 100% Gamay. It’s super juicy, light red wine with low tannins that’s best served chilled. Think red berries, crunchy fruits like cherries and strawberries, with the perfect acidity and mouth-watering fresh berry finish.

Shop Cuvée are a bit of COVID phoenix. Forced to close their community fave restaurant Top Cuvée, co-founders Brodie Meah and Max Venning pivoted to the online, launching Shop Cuvée to share their favourite food suppliers and natural wines with the people at home, nationwide. The success of their delivery service sparked their post-pandemic success, with two physical stores and a new wine bar and eatery, Top Cuvée, following suit.
Their carefully curated selection of wines, with a big emphasis on natural and biodynamic bottles, is now represented in their set of Shop Cuvée house wines. A red, a white, and a rosé that they hope will help combat the exclusivity around natural wine.
