Noche Buena, Honduras - Missing Bean Coffee Roasters
Missing Bean’s festive treat is an extra special single-origin coffee from Honduras. These honey-process organic coffee beans are grown by COMSA co-operative member farmers in Honduras’s Marcala region. The co-operative supports producers in converting to organic farming and also dedicates 25% of its income to the education of the children of COMSA farmers and the wider community.
Nochebuena is the celebration held on Christmas eve in Honduras and many other Spanish-speaking countries and communities; a night for families and friends to come together, eat and drink.
This indulgent Christmas brew is the perfect coffee for the occasion; a crowd-pleasingly chocolatey coffee that’s great for sharing.
Now with 6 cafés across the county, Oxford’s first independently owned coffee shop Missing Bean have been flying the flag for specialty coffee across Oxfordshire since Ori and Vicky opened their first site in 2009. Their close-knit team have found their way into coffee from all walks of life, but all share a passion for sustainably sourced coffee which they hand roast at their East Oxford roastery.
Their coffee selection spans origins across the globe, sourcing with a special focus on developing direct trade relationships with producers.
