An Ethiopian coffee that’s every bit as bright, refreshing and clean as a lemon soda. If we started pouring this instead of fresh lemonade would anyone notice?

Typical of coffees from Jimma, this washed lot from KillBean offers a fuller body and more vibrant flavour than coffee from other Ethiopian regions making it a great option for Aeropress brewing. This coffee is produced by smallholder farmers who are members of the Yukro co-operative and processed at their own washing station in Wanja Qarsa which has developed an outstanding reputation.

Cherries are immediately processed after collection using a Penagos eco-pulper and de-mucilator that is designed for ultra-low water consumption. The coffee is then soaked overnight and laid out to dry on shaded beds in the morning.
