These Brazilian coffee beans are a great single-origin option for those who like their coffee tasting like, well, coffee.
Carter have sourced this natural process coffee from Cocatrel Cooperative in Três Pontas- Brazil’s second largest cooperative. The Minas Gerais based organisation supports its more than 8000 members with training, technical assistance, sustainability initiatives to ensure that their coffee is socially and environmentally responsible.
Their specialty coffee branch, Cocatrel Direct Trade, carefully cups lots to create profile driven, fully traceable coffees like this one for the specialty market.
Carter might be Edinburgh’s new kids on the block but founders Danny and Sorley bring with them a wealth of roasting and brewing experience honed from Australia to Scotland.
A philosophy of craftsmanship, connection, technical expertise and relationships underpins their idea that the best coffee is better shared. Their offer list is picked with flavour first, opting for established farmers who value quality and innovation.
