La Vie en Orange is a deliciously acidic French orange wine from Francois Ducrot’s Languedoc winery. Bright orange hued in the glass, this organic blend of Roussanne, Marsanne and Viognier underwent two weeks of skin contact before pressing, followed by low temp fermentation and 3 months age in stainless steel. Aromas of orchard fruits are matched on the palate, alongside very fitting orange blossom florals and a little green tea complexity.

This wine comes from Maison Ducrot’s ‘Les Moutons’ collection, fondly named after their favourite natural weed killer: sheep! Sheep have been used by growers for centuries, and Ducrot is celebrating the revival of ‘eco grazing’ by sustainable viniculture that has welcomed animals back into vineyards.
