Mountain Water Decaf
The Mountain Water decaffeination process was developed and carried out by Descamex in the Veracruz region of Mexico.
Extremely pure glacial spring water, usually from from Mexico’s tallest volcano Pico de Orizaba, is used to gently extract caffeine from green caffeine beans. The caffeine and coffee solids dissolve in the water which is passed through charcoal filters leaving the flavour compounds in the bean.
