Los Naranjos, Colombia - Wood St. Coffee
The farmers who contribute to this deliciously fruity Colombian coffee from Wood St farm small plots in the Huilan municipality of San Agustín. This area near the Colombian Massif, the source of around 70% of Colombian rivers, has incredible fertility making it outstanding for growing complex coffees as well as other cash crops like avocados and sugar cane.
The Los Naranjos group receives support from importer Caravela, with a technician based in the area to regularly visit farms and keep a watchful eye on their harvest expectations, pest management and processing. Most farmers process their own coffee at an onsite wet mill where it is depulped, fermented in covered tanks and then washed up to three times with clean water.
These coffee beans are ultra clean with balanced notes of orange, peach and florals with a dark chocolate body that brings the cup together smoothly.
Specialty coffee roasters Wood St started life as a coffee stall in Walthamstow’s Wood Street Indoor Market and slowly evolved into a permanent neighbourhood fixture, bringing REALLY GOOD COFFEE to their corner of East London.

In 2022, Clare and Gareth Reid handed over the reins of the cafe and honed in on their roasting business, moving into a large unit in Saffron Walden, Essex to meet the growing demand for their REALLY GOOD COFFEE across the hospitality sector.
It’s in high demand for a reason: responsibly sourced, democratised coffee, carefully roasted with the core belief that anyone can brew great coffee if given the tools, knowledge and training.
