El Salvador Pacas - Bailies Coffee Roasters
These coffee beans from El Salvador are the product of Bailies’ strong relationship with the team at Café Pacas. The smallest country in Central America punches above its weight in the coffee industry, and family owned Café Pacas are at the heart of this development. The 19 farms they manage and support make use of the high altitudes and volcanic soils of the Cerro Verde to create coffee with characteristic body, nuttiness and low acidity.
This washed, full bodied coffee was created to show off El Salvador’s coffee heritage and combines the Pacas variety, first found on one of the Pacas family’s own farms, with the Bourbon variety for a bag of richly nutty and chocolatey coffee with a really clean marmalade finish and a sweet molasses aroma.
These versatile and crowd pleasing flavours make for a delicious espresso or filter coffee.
Founded by Russell Bailie in 2001 with a vision of championing specialty coffee in Northern Ireland, Bailies Coffee Roasters have been roasting, training, and award-winning in Belfast for almost 25 years and are a real cornerstone of the specialty coffee industry in the country.
