Kenya Rukira Peaberry - Lost Sheep Coffee
A versatile Kenyan from new supplier Lost Sheep Coffee. Fully washed, this coffee has been processed at the Rukira wet mill in Nyeri, where coffees from over 600 farmers in this fertile highland region are processed near the base of Mount Kenya. These uniform little peaberry beans are meticulously sorted from the standard harvest and a well rounded but complex cup that has a prominent taste of cola with a juicy blackberry finish. This one makes a great introduction to Kenyan coffee, and would work well as either an espresso or a filter coffee with a shorter brew time.
